Liban Awl is CEO of Cryptocurrencies.Global, a pioneering fintech startupdesigned to make crypto payments easy and accessible for businesses and consumers globally.

Prior to founding Cryptocurrencies.Global, Liban served as the CEO of Mcommerce.io, Shopify’s first eCommerce agency with a focus on growing leading direct-to-consumer brands on mobile. He also worked on digitalization programs with NGO’s, international organizations, and government sectors, where he honed his expertise in executive commercial strategy and direction, business development, and partnerships generation.

He is currently partner of DSI-Advisors, a financial consulting firm helping companies attract private investors and partners, enter new markets, and increase their impact, particularly in emerging sectors like eCommerce, fintech, and blockchain. He sits on the board of TalkRemit and Dahabshiil.com

Mukhtar Hakaale(Co-founder)

Mukhtar Hakaale is an experienced technologist who brings a wealth of knowledge to the role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Cryptocurrencies.Global. Prior to joining the team, Mukhtar served as the CTO of Dahabshiil, Africa’s largest money transfer organization. In this role, he led multiple software engineering teams and forged strategic partnerships with leading mobile payments companies in Africa, including M-Pesa, UTN, and MFS. Mukhtar was instrumental in developing the pan-African company’s largest digital payments gateway on the continent, which facilitated seamless and secure digital transactions.

With over 12 years of experience in technology, data, and IT development and operations, Mukhtar has a proven track record in strategic product vision and planning, technology, digital and data strategy, business IT transformation, product development and innovation, leadership, and team management. He is a natural leader in product software development and engineering, creating effective design and enterprise architecture to launch successful products and solutions that enable greater service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Mukhtar’s expertise in technology and digital strategy is complemented by his deep understanding of financial services and payments. He has a passion for innovation and leveraging technology to drive growth and transformation. His ability to lead teams and forge strategic partnerships has been instrumental in Cryptocurrencies.Global’s success, positioning the platform as a leading force in the payments industry.

James Hacking

James Hacking is the Head of Operations at Cryptocurrencies.Global, bringing a wealth of experience to the team. He brings a wealth of experience in conducting performance analysis (organizational, operational, financial) for clients in a wide range of industries, including banking, finance, telecom, and sports management.

Before joining Cryptocurrencies.Global, James was the Project Director at Octagon, the world’s largest sponsorship consulting practice, where he led major programs for the General Sports Authority in Saudi Arabia. Prior to that, he was the Manager for Special Events at Major League Baseball (MLB), where he managed and executed events for the most historic professional sports league in the United States and Canada.

Prior to joining the team, James served as Project Director at Octagon, working with the General Sports Authority in Saudi Arabia to lead major programs.
